The 2nd Shoot - Abigail

For our second shoot, we filmed in the basement of Emma's dad's work office. We decided this was an ideal location as it is quite a run down old basement, so it was perfect for filming where we imagined Grace to be tied up after she had been kidnapped. There are also no windows and only one light suggesting exclusion from the outside world. When I arrived, Emma and Tom where already setting up the camera and I was told to go check on Clare and her makeup. I then went downstairs to help position the lights, as we had the large film light and we needed to ensure that it wasn't in shot. We also got a cloth and cut it up and covered it in fake blood and brown eyeshadow to make it look scruffy and dirty, to "tie" Grace up in with the chair. We however left one clean for hygiene reasons and we needed one to gag Grace with for continuity, as if she really had been kidnapped and was able to make sound, someone could hear her cry for help.
