The Poster

This is the final edited poster design. We decided on the colours black and white for the text as they are a common binary opposition of thrillers and would also stand out against the coloured background. The position of our title "Fallen Grace" was placed next to Grace's face as this aligns with the Rule of Thirds and so the audiences attention would be first directed to the title and Grace's face, which are the key elements of the poster. We also have the names of two of our actors underneath the title, which would help sell the film to people who like their work, but the name of our main actor, Clare Fletcher at the top as this is the most common place for actors names and it's over her head so people will clearly know that the girl in the poster is Clare. This is again a selling point for people who like her work. Underneath this, we have the film awards that the film achieved, again a selling point, and would be the next thing that the poster's audience would look at. At the bottom we placed the additional production information at the bottom of the poster as this is the most common thing to do and it is the last thing the audience will look at. This also included the age restriction of the film which we decided should be a 15.
